VOODOO   ROOM   is   a   stunning   and   exciting   tribute,   paying   homage   to   the music of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton's legendary rock band Cream. This   is   definitively   NOT   a   wig   wearing,   dress   up,   pantomime   style   tribute   band   rather, it is simply great music performed by great players with real pedigree. VOODOO   ROOM    deliver   a   high-energy   show   that   features   all   the   Hendrix   and Cream   classics   including   Purple   Haze,   Voodoo   Chile,   Hey   Joe,   Foxy   Lady,   Crossroads, Sunshine   of   Your   Love,   White   Room,   Strange   Brew    and   many   more,   performed   with an energy and virtuosity that is at the heart of this incredible music. A   trio   comprising   of   some   of   the   U.K.’s   finest   musicians   combine   to   perform   a world   class   show   that   brilliantly   integrates   these   two   massive   pioneers   from   the world   of   classic   blues   /   rock.   The   sheer   musical   ability   of   the   band   is   a   force   to be reckoned with. Virtuoso   guitarist,   Peter   Orr,   has   been   thrilling   audiences   throughout   the   UK and   Europe   for   nearly   3   decades,   mashing   up   classic   riff   based   rock   anthems, with   the   energy   and   style   evocative   of   their   time.   Drummer,   John   Tonks,   is   a leading    session    musician    with    superlative    touring    and    recording    credits, including    such    diverse    luminaries    as    Duran    Duran,    The    Streets    and    Steve Winwood.   Completing   the   line-up   is   Andy   Tolman,   who   has   played   live   bass   for the    likes    of    Ben    E    King    and    Rodriguez,    whilst    also    fulfilling    many    a    music enthusiast’s    dream    by    participating    in    a    recording    session    with    legendary Beatles   producer,   George   Martin.   On   seeing   the   band   live,   the   great   singer, Neneh    Cherry,    was    sufficiently    moved    to    sum    up    their    appeal    succinctly, ‘Incredible musicians!’, she says. VOODOO   ROOM ’s   mission   is   to   deliver   the   all-time   great   Cream   and   Hendrix numbers   with   a   true   passion   and   energy   worthy   of   the   classic   masters.   Their show is beyond any tribute, it is simply a celebration of the pure power trio. Don’t   miss   the   opportunity   to   experience   the   thrill   of   this   musical   ride   as   it   was back then!
REVIEWS “This is the closest you will get to the sounds of the real thing! As this band don’t try to be Hendrix or Cream, this makes it more of an appreciation rather than a tribute. Wonderful music, beautifully and faithfully played.”   - Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne “Superb… We were treated to a cordon bleu evening of entertainment and dined out at the high table of rock music.”   - Ken Bowman, Newbury Weekly News “An outstanding performance of the songs of legend.”   - Blues in the South Magazine
